The Bedford Free Public Library is hosting an exhibit of the work of members of the Bedford Center for the Arts Photo Group from November 9, 2023 to January 10, 2024. The theme of the exhibit is The Photographer’s Eye, showcasing both the depth of photographic talent and the diversity of perspectives we have in the Group. The exhibit was juried by Gillian Ross, co-owner and director of Gallery Twist in Lexington. You can see the exhibit images in the exhibit in the gallery below.

About the Juror

Gillian Ross began her artistic adventures soon after moving from England to the USA, when in 2006 she served as an active member of the cooperative Depot Square Gallery in Lexington MA. For eight years she was Gallery Director at Lexington's Grace Art Gallery, and simultaneously served in other roles over several years on the boards of Lexington Open Studios and the Monotype Guild of New England. This experience, together with her current role as co-owner and director of Gallery Twist in Lexington MA, means that Gillian has juried, curated and presented many art exhibitions. Through these roles, together with her involvement with many other art organizations, and as a practicing printmaker/painter, she has developed a wealth of experience and connections with many of the area's finest artists.

Exhibit Committee: Dawn Clowes, Helena Long, Sally Naish, Bonnie Newman, Pip Shepley, Carl Silvia, Linda Wolk.
