Marv is a Bedford resident, concert photographer, and a founding member of the BCA Photo Group. His work has been featured in numerous Boston area venues, juried shows, auctions and such publications as Downbeat Magazine, the Boston Globe, the Herald, USA Today, Detroit Live and Japan Jazz. He has done work for such performers as John Mayall, Leon Russell, Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, James Montgomery, Arlo Guthrie, Joey Alexander, The Outlaws, Blue Oyster Cult, the Wailers, etc. His goal is to inspire you to shoot musical events and will explain how to get started, some of the challenges that concerts present, the gear he uses, some “tricks of the trade” and the workflow he uses to review and deliver work.
