BCA Photo Group Show at NESOP

Theme: Untold Stories

Photographs tell a story, whether it is landscape, documentary, portrait, street or abstract. The story can be explicit or an enthralling visual experience that defies easy categorization. Sometimes, the more abstract evokes the viewer to construct their own personal narrative. The theme welcomes your interpretation and expression of an untold story. Our display will include 15 photographs, eight horizontal and seven vertical.

Thank you to all that submitted images, and congratulations to those selected.

For each image selected for the show, please ensure your prints meet the guidelines described below:

  1. All work will be shown UNMATTED. Mats are not required for this show given the tight timelines and the Red Brick Gallery at NESOP accepts work with no mats. Please do not mat your photo.

  2. NESOP will provide the frames and hardware for hanging.

  3. Photos must be printed on 13” by 19” gallery quality paper.

  4. Please include a white border on your print.

  5. Do not include any other backing with your photograph.

  6. Label your photo in back with your first and last name.

Each photographer must also FILL OUT THIS FORM and submit it along with your print.

Bring your completed print to the January 8th BCA Photo Group meeting. If you cannot make the January 8th meeting, please make separate arrangements with Diane Bennett at dbennettgo@gmail.com or ask another member to bring your print to the meeting for you.

All prints must be delivered to Diane by January 11th.

You do not have to wrap your print as they will all be placed in a carrying box.

Your print must be accompanied with the completed form, which can be found at the link above and was also emailed to those who are participating.

Opening Reception:  Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.  (Snow date will be Sunday, February 3, 2018 from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.)

Length of Show: Friday, January 18th thru Thursday, March 21st. We will notify exhibitors of pick-up specifics at a later date. We may be able to collect them all at once and bring them to a BCA meeting.
