Bob Bicknell has an image in the juried show 'Collections' in the art gallery at Grace Chapel in Lexington (59 Worthen Rd.). The show will run from May 20 to June 25. Opening reception Saturday May 20, 4 - 6 pm. Gallery open times are Thursdays 2-5, Sundays, and whenever the building is open (most days).
Bob Wilson, our newest member, has a show of his bird and insect images at the Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex St. His wife also has images in the show, which will run until May 30.
One of BCA Photo Group member Charlie Mazel's fluorescence image will be in the juried show 'Unseen: Photography Beyond the Visible' at the Providence Center for Photographic Arts. The show will be up from April 20 to May 13. Opening reception is Thursday April 20, 5 - 9 and in general the gallery is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 1-4 pm.

BCA Photo Group member Judy Clapp has images in two different juried exhibitions through the Cambridge Art Association:
- Member's Prize Show, at University Place Gallery, 124 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, running from February 7 - March 25 2017
- Monster & Misfits, at the Katheryn Schultz Gallery, 25 Lowell St., Cambridge, MA March 7 - April 1 2017.
Three members of the BCA Photo Group - Shantel Rich, Bob Bass, and Bob Bicknell - have images in a juried exhibition at Gallery Seven in Maynard. The theme of the show is "WET". Shantel has two images in the exhibit, one of which, 'Before the Fall', was awarded 'Best in Show'. (Congratulations, Shantel!). The opening reception for the exhibit is March 11 at 7 - 9 pm, and the exhibit runs through April 1.

BCA Photo Group member Mark Levinson participated in the Griffin Museum's Atelier, 'a portfolio and project building course for emerging to advanced photographers.' An exhibition of prints from Mark and the other photographers in Atelier 25 is on display at the Griffin main gallery until March 31 2017. The opening reception was last night (March 9). Please make sure to bring your work in at that time. Have someone else drop it off for you if you cannot make it.
The picture must be wired for hanging or the work will not be accepted.

We will have a loose-leaf binder at the show with contact information and pricing for those who wish to offer their prints for sale. The E-Mail form submission below will send us everything we need with a simple click!
If you do wish to sell - the customer will contact you directly using the information you provide.
If not do NOT wish to sell - we will list your work as "Not for Sale" and not disclose contact information.

In collaboration with Bedford's First Parish Church, where we hold our regular meetings, we are sponsoring a BCA Photo Group members-only show.
Show dates: March 1 - April 30 2017
Theme: Illumination/Reflection - interpret this theme in any way you like - what illumination means to you, what picture comes to your mind when you think of reflection.
Submission deadline: January 13 2017
- Each BCA Photo Group member may submit one digital image;
- Image should be in jpeg/jpg format;
- Convert the jpeg image to the sRGB color space if it isn’t already in that color space;
- Size the image so that it is no wider than 1400 pixels on its width for landscape images or no taller than 1050 on its height for portrait images. Let the resize action dynamically resize the other edge;
- Save the image using the naming convention - LASTNAME_FIRSTINITIAL_photo_exhibit.jpg
- Email your image to email@example.com
- In your email indicate:
- the size of framed image including the outer dimensions of the frame
- the medium of the print (inkjet paper, canvas, aluminium)
- the title of the image
Space is limited, and images will be selected by lottery. The selected submissions will be listed on our website on January 22, 2017. Instructions on providing your physical work will follow on January 22, 2017
Note that submitted images may be used on the BCA Photo Group website or other places for publicity purposes. (You can let us know if you prefer not to be a part of the publicity program.)
